Seminar Information: This 3 hour seminar is designed to give you a taste of what you don't know about the backcountry and get you thinking about how to be prepared. We'll go over snow conditions, terrain and trip planning, and go through some hands on outdoor workshops to give you some practice with your avalanche equipment.
Our instructors are backcountry enthusiasts and Canadian Avalanche Centre Professional members Curtis Pawliuk & Marshall Dempster from Frozen Pirate Snow Services.
Please dress for the weather and bring your avalanche equipment!
Registration Fee: $50 per person. This will be returned to you in the form of a giftcard upon seminar completion (you must be in attendance to receive the giftcard).
