Just got back from a one week trip to West Yellowstone. Conditions were excellent and the powder was unbelievable in areas. Hundreds of miles of trails and numerous stops to pull off and play. Thanks to Landon R for inviting me and for our tour guides along the way. The town is snowmobile friendly and allows you to drive sleds in town (with exception of 2 streets) and no need to move your vehicle once you arrive - just fire up your sled and go. Would highly recommend the area as there is terrain for everyone.

The sled trailers sat all week - no need to move them once parked. You can also leave your sled our for the evening if you like - fairly safe.

Team Yamaha....

The Viper in a bit of powder - about 3 feet here (but Simmons Gen 2's didn't sink)

Acres of terrain....

About 4 feet of snow here....

Sean, it looks like a great destination given the way the community accommodates for snowmobiling around town...from my perspective the worst part of the sport is loading and dealing with staging trucks and trailers - if you don't have to deal with that, makes the trip that much sweeter! Looks like the Yammies were out numbered on the trip, but I'm sure they held their own! Sad I couldn't make it out with you guys to help represent Team Yamaha! Glad to hear the Simmons skis helped out, I sure love mine - wouldn't trade them for any other! Hope we can still salvage some local riding and we can get out together yet this season...looks like you guys had a blast - thanks for the share!
